HL7(Health Level 7) is a standard application protocol for electronic data exchange in a healthcare environment. A PACS uses this protocol to communicate with external systems such as a HIS(Hospital Information System) or RIS(Radiology Information System).
HL7 Gateway is the interface between the RAYPAX system and HIS/RIS using HL7 standards. The initial interface installation can be made easier by using the HL7 Gateway's API Toolkit.
